The WA Boating Industry Association, together with Cockburn Power Boats Association and All Boats & Caravans are inviting the public, who have never owned or even stepped on board a boat, to the first ever Explore Boating event to experience what boating is truly all about!
With a range of boating activities to choose from, such as fishing and squidding, crayfish pot pulling, visiting Carnac Island and seeing the seals, tube/biscuit towing and even learning how to reverse and launch a boat – there really is something for everyone.
“Boating has so many benefits and if people were aware of how good boating can be for you and even your friends and family – more people would be doing it”, said Maz Yahiya, General Manager of All Boats & Caravans.
“An example is that boating is the perfect opportunity to unplug and de-stress. In this digital age, it seems we are all so fixated on being online. Did you know Chronic health problems such as stress, insomnia and depression have all been linked to our inability to ‘power down’? When you head out boating, it’s the perfect excuse to unplug – even for a few hours.”
So, grab your family and come experience why life is better with a boat!
The Explore Boating WA event opens from 10am to 4pm at Cockburn Power Boats Association (28 Jervoise Bay Cove, Coogee 6166). The venue will have free entertainment on the day as well as offering food and drinks for purchase at their brand new fully licensed Boat Bar.
This is a free-event for all participants, with no ticket purchase required.
